At IEF, we are committed to supporting and uplifting individuals from historically marginalized and underrepresented communities across the United States and within the horse world and equestrian sports. Historically marginalized communities encompass groups that have faced systemic discrimination and oppression due to societal power dynamics and institutional biases.
In the United States, marginalized communities include people of color, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, low-income individuals, prisoners, the disabled, senior citizens, and many more. These communities have historically been disenfranchised and marginalized, facing barriers to equal opportunity, justice, and representation.
We recognize the importance of centering the voices and experiences of individuals from marginalized communities in our work. By amplifying their voices, addressing systemic inequalities, and advocating for social justice and equity, we strive to create a more inclusive and equitable society for all.
At IEF, we are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work. We believe that by embracing and celebrating the richness of our diverse communities, we can foster positive change and build a more just and equitable world.
