SUMMER 2023 PROGRAM PARTICIPANT
Had the most amazing week with Idlewood Equestrian Foundation. I would not have been able to show at a big venue without Carly’s hard work in making this dream happen and Kim Lambert Johansen for the wonder ponies.
Carly went out of her way to teach us in hands on learning! She is very knowledgeable and passionate and created a fun and stress-free show environment. She was always happy and excited to share her knowledge and go above and beyond to make this a wonderful and memorable experience.
Highly recommended for any under-funded equestrians to apply to this program. Not only do you learn a lot you met incredible people as well.
Ocala Winter Program
Join us for a week of showing at one of the horse capitols of the world. More information about our schedule, educational opportunities, and application timeline to come soon.
We are always looking to expand the educational and competitive opportunities we offer. If you are a barn owner, trainer, or equine professional interested in working with IEF in any capacity, please do not hesitate to reach out.

SUMMER 2023 PROGRAM PARTICIPANT
Seriously an unforgettable experience. This week I joined the Idlewood Equestrian Foundation for their first program so far at Vermont Summer Festival. Thanks to Carly Mangan and her team I was able to show at my first A rated show, something I never would’ve imagined myself doing. This program was not only an amazing once in a lifetime experience but it was way more than just the showing opportunities. Carly took time to give us many learning opportunities in and out of the saddle (even if it took a little longer than if she was to do it herself). Carly is not only kind to everyone she interacts with but she is especially kind to the horses making sure that they were cared for exceptionally and taught lessons in a way that was beneficial to the horse and rider. I made so many new friends, had the most fun night check adventures and ate a lot of Sheila’s Mac n cheese (iykyk). This was an amazing experience that I would suggest to all riders out there that don’t have the regular funds to be able to show. So so thankful for this program and what it’s done.
